Full House Moving in Denver

A house is not a big apartment. It is a garage, a basement, a shed, a grill that still has propane in it and a closet nobody has opened since 2019. We plan for all of it.

Full House Moving crew at work in Denver

Whole-home moves live or die on the walkthrough. Before the crew is booked we go room by room with you over the phone: bedrooms and their bed sizes, whether the dining table has a leaf, the treadmill in the basement, the tool chest in the garage, the patio set that has to come off the deck. Ten minutes of that gives us the right crew size, and the right crew size is what keeps the hourly clock short.

Three movers and a 26-foot truck are the standard for a three-bedroom; four movers make sense once you add a finished basement, a full garage or a second trip. More hands cost more per hour and almost always cost less overall, because loading is the part that scales. We will tell you honestly when the extra mover is not worth it for your floor plan.

Denver houses come with their own hazards and we work around them daily. Narrow Wash Park staircases with a hard turn at the landing. Detached garages down an alley where the truck cannot back in. Hardwood you just refinished, which gets floor runners before anything rolls across it. Doorframes get padded, banisters get wrapped, and the appliances get strapped rather than balanced.

Appliances, safes and pianos are their own conversation. We disconnect and move standard washers, dryers and free-standing ranges; gas lines and built-in units need a licensed tech, and we will say so rather than improvise. Upright pianos and gun safes are quoted separately by weight and by how many steps stand between them and the truck.

Questions about full house moving

How many movers do I need for a three-bedroom house?

Three for most three-bedrooms, four if the basement is finished and full or the garage is packed. We decide together on the walkthrough call, and the estimate names the crew size you are being charged for.

Will everything fit in one truck?

A 26-foot truck holds a typical three-bedroom home. Four bedrooms plus a full garage often means a second trip or a second truck, which we flag in the estimate rather than discovering at 4pm.

Do you move things into storage on the same day?

Yes, splitting a load between a new address and a storage unit is routine. Tell us which rooms go where and we load in that order so nothing gets dug out twice.
